College Comm TipsAfter spending two exciting years at a junior college, I proceeded to transfer all of my credits to a four-year University. Why you may ask? It's a heck of a lot cheaper. You can spend around 17 or 18 thousand living one year of the University life, while a community college will cost you a fourth of that. When I began searching for a University to attend, I wanted to find one of the top ranked colleges in the state. You can find some of the top ranked colleges simply by surfing the net. Of course it is great to get that college education under your belt, but you certainly want everyone to recognize your school. College Comm AdviceAs children grow out of their little pants and are ready to begintheir teens, many parents wonder if they should continue with the homeschooling program. They fear that colleges may not give equal opportunities to a child educated at home. Many fears of this kind were put to rest when 2 homeschooled boys got admission into Harvard. Take at least one class per quarter or semester that’s just for personal enrichment. So, take advantage of opportunities to try courses in areas you’ve never tried, but always wanted to.
