I encountered a multitude of students at the technical college, who were there for a two-year degree. Most of them were interested in computers. I must say, there are plenty of careers available these days for the computer savvy.

I felt like I was done with the homework and teacher routine. When I graduated from high school back in the 1990s, I wasn't stoked about heading off to college. After speaking with my parents a bit, I ended up choosing a technical college.

These degree mills often don’t even have the licensure or accreditations to be offering degree programs. And even if they are fully accredited, no legitimate school worth attending is going to ask for money to reserve classes or anything else like that. Don’t listen to the online college’s own hype.

It brought all kinds of highly intelligent, educated people to California, and provided education to people who would not be able to afford it otherwise. This was a great advantage. The fact is that every UC College in California used to be free of charge if you were a resident of the state.
